Our Team
John Wallin | Executive Director
John and his wife Amber moved out west from Ontario in 2018 to study Emergency Rescue Technician at Columbia Bible College. His background in wilderness out-tripping and his passion for helping underserved young adults find their potential were the sparks that brought Three Peaks to life. John loves all things board games and spends his free time teaching his friends new games or expanding his impressive game collection.
Tim Nielsen | Director of Development
Tim is a true outdoorsman. With a Bachelor of Arts in Outdoor Leadership, Tim can be found outside in all seasons, whether he’s biking, rock climbing, ice climbing, or paddling down a river. An Abbotsford native, Tim is passionate about connecting with people and building relationships that lead to deeper growth and understanding.
Bella Nielsen | Community Support Worker
Bella has a heart for serving others . She grew up as a mission kid in Northern Brazil which gave her lots of experience . Being raised in Brazil has also instilled in her a deep appreciation for nature and community. Beyond her love for the outdoors, Bella is also a talented artist, bringing creativity and a unique perspective to everything she does.
Miriam Bakker | Outreach Director
Miriam has a genuine love of serving and caring for people. As the oldest sibling of a foster family, she is familiar with the hardship and difficulty many children face as they seek to find their place in the world. Miriam has enjoyed serving with Three Peaks as she pursues a Bachelor’s of Social Work at the University of the Fraser Valley.
Anne-Marie Copp | Office Administrator
Anne-Marie holds the team together with her administrative expertise. Born and raised in Northern BC, she now lives in Langley with her husband and two children. Anne-Marie loves the mission of Three Peaks and after many years in corporate and church administrative roles, she is proud to be part of this team.
