Hi, we are THree Peaks Rec!
It’s good to meet you.
Our Team
John Wallin | Executive Director
John and his wife Amber moved out west from Ontario in 2018 to study Emergency Rescue Technician at Columbia Bible College. His background in wilderness out-tripping and his passion for helping underserved young adults find their potential were the sparks that brought Three Peaks to life. John loves all things board games and spends his free time teaching his friends new games or expanding his impressive game collection.
Tim Nielsen | Director of Development
Tim is a true outdoorsman. With a Bachelor of Arts in Outdoor Leadership, Tim can be found outside in all seasons, whether he’s biking, rock climbing, ice climbing, or paddling down a river. An Abbotsford native, Tim is passionate about connecting with people and building relationships that lead to deeper growth and understanding.
Samantha Beswitherick | Program Director
Samantha brings a deep passion for nature, adventure, and connection. As a dedicated outdoor enthusiast and Ironman triathlete, she embodies resilience, perseverance, and love for pushing boundaries. Samantha is driven by a belief that meaningful relationships and strong community ties are built through shared experiences in the outdoors. She desires to design programs that inspire, connect, and empower every participant.
Anne-Marie Copp | Office Administrator
Anne-Marie holds the team together with her administrative expertise. Born and raised in Northern BC, she now lives in Langley with her husband and two children. Anne-Marie loves the mission of Three Peaks, and after many years in corporate and church administrative roles, she is proud to be part of this team.
Lisa Beswitherick | Social Media Manager
Lisa is a marketing major at the University of Lethbridge. She brings skills to Three Peaks to run our online presence as she is passionate about storytelling and community engagement. When she is not behind a screen, you’ll find her on the ice playing ringette, her favourite sport, or exploring Alberta’s natural beauty.
Gabby Marazzi | Community Outreach Director
Gabby is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Fraser Valley. She is a passionate people person and has always been driven to help others find meaningful connections and a sense of belonging. Gabby’s excited to be part of the Three Peaks team and to help young adults find real connection and community. When she is not studying or working, you will probably find her outside and with people, either hiking, swimming, or playing grass volleyball. She is also a big believer in the power of good food to bring people together.
